Talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, Gwhil finally releases his highly anticipated extended playlist titled “Lights On Me EP”.

Oghenegare Ovie, better known as Gwhil, is a young Nigerian singer and songwriter who hails from Warri in Delta state. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Nigeria.

Gwhil has not been unaware of his musical talent and love for the arts. In 2016, he began a professional career as a musical artiste with a debut single entitled “Heart Desire”. Following the reception that his debut tape, “Heart Desire” had received, Gwhil released another single in 2019. This time, a collaborative effort titled “Faaji” featuring Debonair Dessy. The song, “Faaji”, further endeared him to a growing fanbase across Nigeria.

Gwhil is also a civil servant who currently works at the Delta State Sports Commission. Asides his day job, he spends time writing music, composing, or recording music, he can be found learning something new about music, income & finance(s). During his free time, he likes to cook and try out the preparation of different [food] delicacies.

However, he has spent a period of time creating music and curating the quality of work in his first project: an EP titled “Lights On Me”. Download enjoy and stream below
