Former Juve Goal Keeper Gianluigi Buffon Extends Contract with Parma Until 2024.

Former Italian and Juventus Football Club goalie, Gianluigi Buffon has extended his contract with Italian outfit, Parma FC until 2024.

This new contract means the Italian will play football until he is at least 46 years old.

The news was confirmed on the official Twitter account of Parma on Monday, February 28th, 2022.

Buffon joined Parma from Juventus during the summer of 2021. He had earlier said that he will want to play until he is 50.

Buffon started his professional career in 1995 and he has gone on to win 11 league titles, 6 Italian Cups, the FIFA World Cup amongst other titles. The goalkeeper expressed his desire concerning the new contract he sighed with Parma.

“I can still give everything. I want to continue doing that for as long as possible, because I always get a lot of pleasure and satisfaction from this,” the veteran goalie stated.
