Buckingham Palace confirmed on Sunday that Queen Elizabeth II had tested positive for COVID-19.
Queen Elizabeth is suffering from “mild cold-like symptoms,” according to the Palace.
During the week, the king is expected to perform “light responsibilities” at Windsor Castle.
In a statement, the palace said, “She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all proper guidelines.”
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth has had three COVID vaccinations.
Remember that Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were recently found to be carriers of COVID-19.
