Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father, has reacted to the news that the singer is expecting her first child.

Rihanna, 33, and boyfriend A$AP Rocky, 33, announced the exciting news on Monday, Jan. 31, by flaunting Riri’s growing baby bulge.

Ronald told Page Six about the singer’s wonderful news from his home in Barbados: “I leaped for joy because I’m so pleased. I’m still giddy with anticipation.”

He went on to say: “Rihanna has always stated that she wishes to have children and that she adores them. She always looks after her cousin’s children…she’ll be a good mother.”

Rihanna’s boyfriend met her father for the first time in December 2020, when she took him to his home on the Caribbean island where he lives.

He went on to say that A$AP is “a very cool guy” and that “I like him.”
