Asisat Oshoala Extends Contract With Barcelona Till 2024.

Nigeria’s Super Falcon captain, Asisat Oshoala has extended her contract with Barcelona womens football team until 2024.

According to an official statement from the club on its website, the Nigerian has been a big part of the club since joining from Arsenal in 2019.

Osholala has been impressive since she joined the Spanish side having scored 80 goals in 101 games, a feat that makes her the sixth-highest goalscorer in the history of the club women’s team.

She is the highest goalscorer in the league this season having scored 16 goals in 19 league games.

Asisat expressed her delight on the club’s website after signing the new contract which will see her play top-level football for the next two years.

“I am just happy to be in the best team in the world. Not just because of their football, because they look off the pitch and because of how they treat footballers to keep improving. I am a striker and I want to keep scoring more goals. I love it. The goal is to keep growing and to be happy.” She stated.
