Kurt Zouma Charged To Court Over Alleged Offences Under The Animal Welfare Act For Kicking His Cat.

West Ham United defender, Kurt Zouma has been charged to court over three alleged offences under the Animal Welfare Act.

 The Athletic confirmed the news concerning Zouma on its official website on Monday, May 23rd, 2022.

According to the report, The French player and his brothers are expected to appear at a Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022.

Recall that, Zouma was filmed by his brother kicking his cats earlier in the year and had received a lot of backlash from people on social media. The defender was fined £250,000 by West Ham but was selected by David Moyes despite calls from the public wanting otherwise.

The cats were removed from the player’s home by the RSCPA and they continue to take care of the pets.
