Simi Hits 100M Streams, Joins Boomplay Golden Club.

Popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, Simisola Kosoko has joined Boomplay Golden Club after she hit over 100 Million streams on the music streaming platform.

This makes her the first female artist to achieve this feat.

To celebrate the outstanding accomplishment, Boomplay, one of Nigeria’s top music streaming services, made this announcement on its social media platforms on Saturday.

The multi-award-winning singer achieved this milestone with her fifth solo project, “To Be Honest (TBH),” according to Tosin Sorinola, spokesman for Boomplay.

Simi previously broke a milestone by becoming the first female singer from Africa to exceed 100 million streams on Audiomack.

Now she  joins the group of Nigerian artists with 100 million or more Boomplay streams, including Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Fireboy DML, Omah Lay, and Joeboy.
