Fast rising Nigerian music stars BNXN (formerly known as Buju) and Ruger have taken a hit at each other again as they reignited their beef on Twitter and exchange words.
The beef got reheated again after BNXN threw shade at Ruger following the release of his new project ‘Bad Since ’97’.
“What if I 🤔 what if I 🤔what if I 🤔COOOKKKK👨🏽🍳 #BadSince97,” BNXN wrote while sharing a link to his new project. (see a screenshot of his post below).
MAVIN star, Ruger however couldn’t keep silence but had to reply to BNXN’s tweet as he body shamed the artist.
“Get a solo hit then talk to me fatty bum bum,” Ruger wrote.
BNXN promptly replied by quoting the tweet as he wrote;
“Project #1 and I didn’t have to whine my waist 🥰”.
BNXN then supported his response with a screenshot displaying the position of Ruger’s projects; Pandemic EP and The Second Wave (Deluxe edition), on the Apple music album charts at number 64 and 33 respectively.
In between this, BNXN also reacted to Ruger’s response with another tweet where he said; “Man had to body shame? 😞💀 hurt him deeeeep 😂”
Then BNXN added; “The project will ALWAYS be more important than the hit! Look at Burna Boy! That’s my yardstick , you think I wanna blow with 1/2 songs and I no fit come back ?? When he was dropping you didn’t call those songs hits back then but you see now? Open your eye patch oloriburuku.”
