Music Exec, Soso Soberekon Sues Harrysong, Demands N500M Compensation Over Alleged Defamation.

Popular Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon has sued singer, HarrySong to court over an alleged defamation.

Harrysong had earlier in an interview on Frankly Speaking podcast, which is co-hosted by comedian Nedu, alleged that Soso Soberekon once ordered assassins to kill him.

In the interview the singer complained about the problem of fake friendships in the Nigerian entertainment industry throughout the show. He stated that most people who claim to be his friends are actually out to bring him down.

“90% of all the friendships are fake. There are people I’ve been working with for years. If you call their names you go say na Harry guy be this. Dem no be my guy,” he said.

“As a matter of fact, those are my real enemies. If you see Soso now, you’ll say Soso is my friend. Soso is not my friend; Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcort, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone,” the singer added.

When asked if he had proof of the allegations, Harrysong said, “I have evidence, I have videos, I have pictures.

“This is no joke. You’ll say he is my friend, he’s not my friend. He wants to kill me.”

In response to the allegations by Harrysong, Soberekon has sued Harrysong and also demanded N500million compensation for tarnishing his image.
