Arsenal football club centre back, Gabriel Magalhaes has reacted to not making it into the Brazilian World Cup team after Brazil manager, Tite released his 26-man squad for Qatar.

However, Magalhaes was left out of the squad despite his impressive performances so far this season that have pushed Arsenal to the top of the English Premier League table.

The 24-year-old, who is yet to make his senior Brazil debut, missed out to Chelsea’s Thiago Silva, Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos, Real Madrid’s Eder Militao and Juventus’ Bremer.

However, while Magalhaes is yet to directly comment on the matter, the centre-back reportedly did respond to a fan on his Instagram story shortly after the squad was announced.

Gabriel Reposted a message that read: “I saw you grow up in football, brother. You are the pride of our neighbourhood.”

Some English Premier League players that made the squad are Everton’s Richarlison, Chelsea’s Thiago Silva and Arsenal forwards Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, while Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino was not included.
