Tems Becomes the First Nigerian Artist to Be Nominated for the Oscars Award.

 Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer and performer Tems has become the first and only Nigerian artist in history to receive an Oscar Awards 2023 nomination.

Tems received an Oscar Award nomination for Best Original Song for her immense contribution to the writing of ‘Lift Me Up‘ for the Marvel-produced Black Panther Wakanda Forever.

This nomination comes after the Golden Globe awards nomination in December 2022 and also the grammy awards 2023 nominations in November 2022.
