Nigeria misses out on qualification for 2024 Olympics after 2-0 loss to Guinea.

The U-23 Nigerian Green Eagles have missed out on qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games after the suffered a 2-0 defeat to Guinea.

The team has also missed out on a qualifier for this year’s U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Guinea booked their spot on Tuesday after they had recorded a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Abuja.

Second-half goals from Algassime Bah and Alseny Soumah sealed the qualification in Rabat, Morocco.

The 2023 U-23 AFCON will be hosted by Morocco between June 24 and July 8, 2023.

The top three teams at the tournament will qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympic men’s football tournament.
