“I had to leave my $60 Million family mansion to sleep in a friend’s studio” – Davido (VIDEO)

Popular Nigerian singer David “Davido” Adeleke has recently shared his experience of leaving his family’s multi-million dollar house in pursuit of his music dreams.

Speaking in an interview with American media personality Big Boy while promoting his latest album Timeless, Davido told detailed stories of how much sacrifice he made to get to the point he has gotten to in his career.

The singer revealed that he was willing to do music—so much so that he got on bad terms with his billionaire father, who was ready to give him the best life so long as he stayed in school.

Davido stated that he had to leave his family’s $60 million mansion to sleep in a friend’s studio, which was very hot and uncomfortable, all in a bid to stay close to the music.
