France international and former Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema is reportedly set to earn €400 Million per annum as he signs a new deal with Saudi Arabian Pro Football League club, Al Ittihad.
According to reports Benzema signed the deal on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 after playing his final game as a Real Madrid player, he is expected to earn €400 Million per annum.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on its official Twitter account.
“Karim Benzema has signed main part of docs to become new Al Ittihad player joining the Saudi league — here we go! Understand contract will be valid until 2025 but will also include option for further season. Karim will say goodbye to Madrid fans then travel to Saudi;” Fabrizio wrote.
Karim Benzema joined Real Madrid in 2009 and has been a key part of the club’s success in recent seasons, he won 25 titles in his fourteen seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu in which he won 5 European Cups, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 4 Leagues, 3 Copas del Rey and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
