Man Utd Announce Hojlund’s New Jersey Number

Manchester United has unveiled Rasmus Hojlund’s new jersey number for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.

Hojlund, who wore the number 11 jersey in his debut season at Old Trafford, will now don the iconic number 9 shirt, previously worn by Anthony Martial.

Martial’s departure from the club, following the expiration of his contract, opened up the number 9 spot for Hojlund.

Hojlund joins the ranks of Manchester United legends such as Sir Bobby Charlton, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, all of whom have proudly worn the number 9 jersey.

Following this change, Joshua Zirkzee is anticipated to take over the number 11 shirt.
