Supercomputer Forecasts the 2024/25 Premier League Champion

As Manchester City sets its sights on an unprecedented fifth consecutive Premier League title for the 2024/25 season, excitement and anticipation build. Achieving this would cement their place in history, as no team has ever won five straight top-flight championships.

On the other hand, Arsenal, under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, aims to improve upon their consecutive runner-up finishes to Manchester City. Predictions from Grosvenor Sport’s supercomputer indicate that Manchester City will clinch the 2024/25 Premier League title by May 2025, with Arsenal again securing the second spot.

This advanced supercomputer runs simulations for each match 1,000 times to provide precise outcomes, factoring in the relative strengths of all Premier League teams.

Liverpool is projected to secure third place, with Manchester United taking the fourth spot. Chelsea, managed by Enzo Maresca, is anticipated to miss out on a Champions League berth, finishing fifth. Aston Villa is expected to end the season in sixth place.

Tottenham Hotspur, forecasted to miss out on the Champions League for the third year in a row, is predicted to finish seventh. West Ham, Newcastle, and Brentford are likely to finish tied for eighth, ninth, and tenth places, each accumulating 57 points.
