Sarkodie Hints At First-Ever Rapperholic Concert Outside Ghana

As anticipation builds for Rapperholic 2025, Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has revealed that his focus has shifted beyond hit songs and surprise guest appearances.

Speaking on the Big Convo ahead of the December 25 concert at the Grand Arena, the rapper described the next phase of Rapperholic as one rooted in scale, experience and global reach.

Before his fame, awards and sold-out arenas, he was a young rapper obsessed with craft, discipline and hip-hop purity. Years later, that same mindset continues to shape Sarkodie’s every move, especially as he prepares for another edition of Rapperholic, scheduled for December 25 at the Grand Arena.

In a wide-ranging conversation ahead of the show, Sarkodie made it clear that while hit records and chart success still matter, his focus has shifted. The mission now is bigger than a single night or a single country.

“This is my biggest priority in my life at this point. Having a hit song or a feature is cool, but that’s not where my high is now.”

That priority, he explained, is building moments where African music can travel together, answering a question about “…unity in numbers and whether there’d be a concert outside the country where all big names would perform”.

Rapperholic, he explained, has never relied on hype-driven announcements or confirmed guest lists. Instead, it has grown into a trusted brand where fans show up knowing they won’t be disappointed, whether surprises are revealed or not.

“We like that people buy into the brand, not who you’re bringing. When they come, we don’t disappoint.”

Beyond the December 25 show, Sarkodie confirmed that a major announcement is coming, one that will mark a turning point for Rapperholic and it’s global reach.

“Right after my performance, I have one last announcement to make. Next year, we’re doing the same thing outside Ghana In March, more details will be given”

For fans, the message is clear: Rapperholic is no longer just an annual concert. It is a growing movement. One built on preparation, precision and a deep respect for the audience.
