UNILAG Food Vendor Electrocuted to Death at Idi-Araba Campus

A male food vendor identified as Lekan has died after being electrocuted at the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba campus of the University of Lagos.

The incident reportedly happened on Sunday morning while he was washing his hands at a water point, where he came in contact with a metal railing near a tap. He was rushed to the campus medical facility but later died.

The university management confirmed the incident and expressed condolences, while operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have begun investigations.
