Following the impeachment of the 45th president of the United States of America Donald Trump, Nigerians on twitter cry out for the impeachment of Nigeria’s president Mohammad Buhari.
Trump was impeached last night by the House of Representatives for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Following his impeachment, Trump is scheduled to stand for a trial in the Republican-controlled Senate, where Trump is widely expected to be acquitted by members of his own party. Failure to be acquainted will lead to his departure from the White House which will make him the first US president to be removed from office.
Amidst Tumps impeachment, Nigerians on popular social media network Twitter has taken it upon themselves to fight for the impeachment of President Mohammad Buhari.
Disobedience to court orders is the highest abuse of power. If we #ImpeachBuhari for this, it’s simply bringing sanity to our democratic space.

Trump didn’t do 30% of what Buhari have done, disobeying court orders alone is enough to impeach any sitting government worker but what do I even know. The country and its government is nothing but a disgrace to democracy #Impeachbuhari

Buhari must go. We don't want a tyrant as our president. We can make this a reality. All we need to do is occupy the streets in hundreds of thousands all over the country. No man is greater than the country. Buhari can't be flexing muscles like that. He's no God.#impeachbuhari
