COVID-19: Delay In FCT Palliative Distribution Not Totally The Fault of Government, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu

The Federal Government and state government of Nigeria has began distribution of palliative materials to help ease the effects of the lockdown in various areas in Nigeria. According to the federal Government, these materials are meant to be distributed to the poor, vulnerable and physically challenged citizens in the country to cushion the effects of the lockdown in Nigeria.

According to Dr. Ramatu Aliyu, the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, she said the palliatives materials are meant for the poor and physically challenged. In an inspection tour carried around the storage facility in Kubwa NYSC Orientation Camp, Dr. Aliyu made it known that distribution would soon start taken effects as the produces were coming from far places like Kano and beyond.

“To me, its not about rushing to do something when it cannot be done well, there is no need to rush. We want effective service delivery and our aim is how to get to the grassroots especially to the poor, physically challenged and the vulnerable with hitches” Dr. Ramatu Aliyu said.
