The Lagos State Governor Special Adviser on Tourism, Art and Culture, Mr. Solomon Bonu inspects the ongoing in iworo, it was announced on Lagos State Twitter handle that,

“The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Solomon Bonu has acknowledged the transformational strides of the Paramount Ruler of Iworo Town in Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the State

Bonu described His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Oladele Friday Kosoko, Ogundeyi II, Oniworo of Iworo Kingdom as the “Architect of a Modern Iworo” and a pacesetter who has brought noticeable development to the ancient town within the last three years of his enthronement,

While inspecting some of the ongoing projects in Iworo, particularly the Zonal Model College, Iworo (FGN/SOUTHWEST ZONE), the Special Adviser revealed that when completed, it would further expose Iworo community to more investment opportunities

Oba Kosoko, who facilitated the Federal Government Model College project in the town, listed some of his achievements in the last three years, including the Establishment of Tomato Farming in one of the communities

The Royal Father also informed that, as part of his efforts to attract more development to the town, he has earmarked some plots of land to the State Government for construction of the “Proposed Iworo Jetty and Fish Market”
