The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advanced fraud and money laundering in the country. The commission was established in 2003 and can boast of various success across the country.

The official handle of the EFCC took to their page to reveal the faces of nine internet fraudsters who bagged jail term in Abeokuta, according to the EFCC, the Ibadan zone office secured the conviction of nine internet fraudsters, before two different judges of the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

Following the tweet, a fan took to the comment section and requested the EFCC to follow his handle as he has vital information of a guy who stole $22.7 billion dollars. The official handle of the EFCC followed the fan, and then requested for details of the alleged fraudster only for the fan to post a picture contrary to what the EFCC was expecting.
