Police Arrest 97 Persons For Clubbing In Kano.

According to media reports, the Kano state division of the Nigeria Police Command revealed that it has arrested 97 persons for clubbing and violating the lockdown order in the state.

The spokesman of the command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, disclosed that the command had on June 6, at about 1:00 a.m. got information that some persons were clubbing at Mozida Hotel and Club 47 in Sabon Gari area of the metropolis.

The Police spokesman noted that the arrested persons include 40 females and 57 males, and the managers of the club. Adding that the defaulters have been charged to court for prosecution.
