I Never Gave Him My Blessings – Mayorkun’s Mum Reveals.

Veteran Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale, who is also the Mother of DMW Singer, Mayorkun, has revealed that she never gave her son her blessings before he started out his music career.

According to the actress, she initially held reservations against Mayorkun’s music career.

In an interview with City People, Toyin Adewale said,

“I never knew Mayowa will go into music. He used to be a junior choir master while in the choir, but never knew he would go this far, because he has always been a very quiet, easy-going person.”

She added that she never wanted Mayorkun to venture into music as a career, not until his Father convinced her to give him a chance.

“It was his father who said Toyin, let’s give him a chance, he studied banking in school.” She said.

“I follow and monitor him all the time. In fact, if he has the power to send me out of Instagram, he would have done that since, because I am always on his page every day.” The proud mum noted on her relationship with her son.
