Messi ends transfer speculations as he arrives an hour early for training

The Lionel Messi transfer saga seems to be over at the moment as the Barcelona talisman was pictured returning to training on Monday afternoon, and according to report, he arrived early ahead of his Barcelona team-mates.

This will be Messi’s first training session since the fallout with the club over his future and a possible transfer. In a tweet by Barcelona, an imaged of Messi modelling their third kit surfaced, and that could be an assurance that the world best player is staying with the club for another season.

Just last month, Messi informed Barcelona chiefs that he wanted to depart the club, but he faced massive resistance from the club hierarchy, as Barcelona insist that he would need to pay the €700m release clause in his contract if his wish is to be granted or if another club wants to sign him this summer.

Messi has since reversed his decision, saying he could never go to court against the club after his heart, as he has grown to love Barcelona and its fans.
