Arsenal Executive Persuades Arsene Wenger Over Possible Return To The Emirates.

Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal football club chief executive is reported to have held talks with former club manager, Arsene Wenger Over a possible return to the Emirates.

According to reports Venkatesham recently paid a visit to Wenger to make his intention known to the Frenchman.

The Daily Mail reports that Venkatesham spoke with Wenger about a possible return to North London as Arsenal plan to reveal a special tribute to the former Gunners leader.

The 71-year-old stepped down from his Arsenal post in 2018 after 22 years at the club and his final years at the club were marred by protests and hostility from supporters.

Under current manager Mikel Arteta, the Gunners lie 15th in the Premier League table, although the Spaniard did lead Arsenal to FA Cup success in the summer – the first trophy that the North London outfit had won since Wenger’s departure.
