Nigerian Celebrities Seeks For The Release Of Omah Lay And Tems

One of the most trending topics on social media is the arrest of Nigerian musicians and songwriters Omah Lay and Tems.

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested by the Ugandan police for performing in an organized event in the country amidst the current pandemic challenge facing the country and world at large.

Omah Lay who confirmed the news on his official social media handle, believes there is a conspiracy against him, as he was invited to perform, something the authorities and police should be aware of.

Nigerian celebrities have taken to their various social media platform to seek for the release of Omah Lay and his manager, as a handful of celebrities questioned the arrest.

In one of the tweets made by Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, he urged Nigerians to be calm, as he claimed to have spoken to Abike Dabiri- Erewa, Chairman, Nigerian in the Diaspora Commission and she claims to be doing everything possible to facilitate the release of Omah lay and Tems.
