Stray Bullet From “Operation Delta Hawk” Official Kills Trader In Delta State.

A stray bullet from an “Operation Delta Hawk” Official killed a yet to be identified trader in Asaba, Delta state.

According to reports, members of the Operation Delta Hawk team were chasing a young boy, who was escaping from them around 9pm on Tuesday, when they allegedly opened fire on him, but the stray bullet hit the woman, whose shop is located around the Government House.

The stray bullet from the official’s gun hit the woman, who was in her shop, and she died on the spot.

“Angry youths carried her corpse and dumped it at the Government House gate on Anwai Road before they were dispersed by security agents,” eyewitness told reporters.

Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, also confirmed the incident, and she stated that investigation was ongoing to get more details on the incident.
