The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rewarded two Lagos State University students for their academic excellence.
Governor Sanwo-Olu presented a cheque of N5 million each to the best graduating students of the Undergraduate and Master programmes of the Lagos State University, as the presentation was done at the state government house.
According to the governor, one of the best graduating student was offered an automatic employment into the states civil service. The governor also assured citizens that his administration will continue to improve the education in the state and also the quality of curriculums and welfare of students, as it’s one of his biggest priorities.
Taken to his official social media handle, governor Sanwo-Olu shared photos of the cheque presentation and also congratulated the students for their hard work and excellence.
“Today, as part of our promise to reward academic excellence in Lagos State, I presented cheques of N5 million each to the best graduating students of the Undergraduate and Master’s programmes of the Lagos State University.”
