Just Like #EndSARS Protest, Bonny Youths Stage A Vigil At The Local Government Secretariat

The youths of Bonny Local Government, have taken their #EndSeaPiracyInBonny, to the next level as they staged a vigil at their Local Government Secretariat, demanding the alleged killings of their brothers, fathers, and friends to Sea Pirate to cease.

According to the protesting youths, the security in Bonny is alarming, as security agencies which should be protecting lives of the indigenes on the sea, are protecting pipes. The youths could be seeing in a photo, preparing what looks like their dinner, at the Local Government Secretariat as they await to be addressed by the Local Government chairman.

“It’s even more painful when you get you get to find 0out that there are up to eleven (11) security house boats in Bonny sea, but they are all protecting pipes instead of people.” A social media user wrote.

Various social media post, are also calling on the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barrister, Nyesom Wike, to come to their aide as the killings should come to an end.
