English Premier League club, Arsenal are reported to have made a loan transfer for Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard.
Odegaard is eager to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in search of regular first-team football.
The 22-year-old midfielder moved to the Bernabeu in 2015 but he’s only made 11 appearances, nine of which have come this season.
In the last three years, the 22-year-old has enjoyed season-long loan spells at Heerenveen and Vitesse in Holland and most recently at Real Sociedad.
It’s no secret that the Gunners are on the hunt for a creative midfielder and, with money tight, it would make sense to get a low-cost, short-term option with Odegaard.
Arsenal however face strong competition for Odegaard, including at least one other Premier League club.
