Tobinsco ft John NetworQ – OYO (On Your Own)

Tobinsco is not relenting as he once again puts out this beautiful piece that features Warri-born rapper John NetworQ titled “OYO“, following his massive hit with Moelogo last year.

OYO, as he titles this one is an acronym for “On Your Own” and it speaks volumes about self-dependence and failed promises, laying emphasis on why one should be ready to thrive all by oneself in absence of support from the family. The first few lines of the song narrate the story of a poverty-stricken lifestyle and impoverished condition that the death of his parents had left him in. He further laments on how his uncles and brothers were no good either.

On his part, SonOfMeRLiN as John Networq is fondly called by fans, once said: If there’s beauty in the struggle, then he CAN’T wait to see the ugliness success brings, in conclusion, this is a beautiful song with a “stay woke” message as these two are prominent for making socially conscious music.
