Securities Capture Two Runway COVID-19 Patients In Kaduna.

Kaduna Commissioner of Health Dr. Amina Baloni has confirmed that security agencies have successfully tracked and captured two COVID-19 positive persons who fled their homes shortly after they were notified of their test results.

The Kaduna state Ministry of Health had earlier mandated security agents to track and fish out the two persons after they refused to submit themselves for treatment at the isolation centre. Before they spread the virus to other members of the public.

Dr Baloni disclosed that the two persons were informed that they had tested positive for covid-19 while on isolation on Friday. And that they switched off their phones, after Health officials notified them that a team will be coming to convey them to the isolation centre for treatment.

This is not the first runaway case in the recorded in the country, as similar irresponsible conduct by some Covid-19 positive cases has been reported in another state too.
