“My Father Will Run For Presidency Again” Adamu Atiku-Abubakar

Nigerian politicians are resilient, determined, and ready to go the extra miles when it comes to political offices in the country. Adamu Atiku-Abubakar, the son of former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar has told newsmen that his father will contest for the position of the presidency again in 2023.

Adamu Abubakar who is the Commissioner for Works and Energy in Adamawa State made this known while presenting the scorecard of his ministry. This is not the first time his father has contested as he has showed interest over the years.

“Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for presidency. In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades.” Adamu Abubakar said.

Atiku Abubakar who represented the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the position of the presidency in the last 2019 election, lost to the sitting and current president of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Atiku is yet to make an official statement to accept or debunk the statement made by his son as most Nigerian politicians like to play the hide and seek game when it comes to announcing or making their intentions known to the general public.
