ASUU kicks against re-opening of school (See their reasons)

The Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU), has stated that, they are ready and willing to re- enter into fresh negotiations on the 2009 agreement with the Federal Government.

The union said, they are kicking against any re-opening of schools (universities) because they are not sure the schools are fully ready and prepared in terms of following NCDC rules, guidelines and health protocols.

Some of the things the listed are;

1. Good running water systems in the school premises.
2. Good washing hand facilities.
3. Social distancing in the lecture halls.
