LegitLists: 5 Jobs That Have Become Profitable Since Buhari Came Into Office.

The last six years has seen the Nigerian economy decline from bad to worse, although the citizens are hopeful there will be a positive turn around in the nearest future.

However even as the economy has not been really great and inflation has eaten deeply into it, there are some jobs that have proven very lucrative and profitable since President Buhari took over office in 2015.

Here is our list of 5 Jobs That Have Become Profitable Since Buhari Came Into Office. (This is not suppose to be a joke at all😒😤)

1. POS BUSINESS

The return of Buhari in 2019 and the coronavirus lockdown in 2020 saw a rise in the increase of agency banking services in Nigeria. Due to the high unemployment rate in the country, the option of every fresh graduate is to save some of their benefits from the NYSC and open a POS shop. At least with this they can earn money on their own terms without depending on the federal government.

2. SALE OF BTC/ETH & GIFTCARDS.

The government has made almost every Nigerian a cryptocurrency analyst and trader. And those who do not have enough funds to make big invest in crypto sell USDTs and Giftcards as an alternative. What to do Na! Man must chop!

3. BANDITRY & KIDNAPPING

This is where the big money 🤑 is, only that just a few people are well equipped and have the courage of committing this erroneous crime. With the rate of insecurity and unemployment in this country many people see this as an avenue to make money, and the sad fact is that most of the people who carry this acts are sponsored by some Nigerian Politicians and big men dem.

4. SPORTS BETTING & GAMBLING

Omo this one is everywhere! We’ve lost count of the amount of sports betting companies and bet adverts we see everyday in Nigeria. Every street now has like three to four bet shops. If it’s not Nairabet, then it’s Bet9ja, 1Xbet, Betking the list goes on. Buhari has turned Nigerian youths to gamblers already.

5. REALITY TV SHOWS (BBNAIJA & CO.)

Reality TV shows have become a new way to make money in Nigeria, and this is only for both the organisers and contestants (We don’t know what those watching 24/7 at home are doing). Now once you go for the shows, appear on T.V, you’ll become a celebrity and brand ambassador. Na the sure ticket now.
