Kanayo O. Kanayo Says S*x for Roles Rumours in Nollywood Aren’t Entirely True.

Kanayo O Kanayo, a veteran of Nollywood, has denied accusations that women are sought for sexual favors in exchange for movie roles.

On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, the movie actor announced it on his Instagram page.

“Please don’t trust all you’re told about sex for Nollywood roles. Many of the females are not putting out the effort necessary to fulfill the parts they have been cast in. It’s a pity,’ he penned.

Several women, according to the movie veteran, are not prepared to work hard on set.

For years, “sex for roles” has been one of the most contentious issues in Nollywood.

While some industry leaders have refuted the allegations, others have been accused of forcing sex on their colleagues.
