Two days ago, on Monday, January 15th, 2024, a TikTok user with the ID @engriykeagbons shared a poignant video, unveiling the distressing plight of a Nigerian music producer and artist stranded on the streets of Ghana.
Little did the identifier know that the struggling artist was an emerging talent from Nigeria, known as C-Tro (Clinton Rigoton, as his Instagram bio reveals), formerly recognized as Clinton Onomuaborigho.
According to C-Tro’s harrowing account, a native of Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, he had been mistreated, swindled, and unfairly dealt with by the music producer/label he collaborated with in Ghana. Seeking justice, C-Tro found himself in a physical altercation with the producer, resulting in his eviction from the apartment, physical abuse, loss of money, and theft of his mobile devices.
Stranded and unable to contact his family and friends, C-Tro ended up sitting at a street bar, where the compassionate @engriykesagbon noticed him after observing his distress for three consecutive days.

Clinton, visibly famished from the ordeal, shared that he hadn’t eaten in three days. The video was swiftly shared across social media, catching the attention of his family and friends, who rallied to his aid.
However, what initially seemed like a shameful experience transformed into a heartwarming story of grace. Veteran Nigerian music legend KCEE, along with A-list singer Teni and other benevolent entertainers and Nigerians, extended their support.
In recent social media posts, C-Tro is seen back in Nigeria, sharing studio moments with KCEE and capturing a picture alongside Teni.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter for C-Tro, turning adversity into an opportunity for a fresh start. The talented entertainer, singer, and music producer, also a graduate of the Chemical Engineering department of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun Delta State, is set to rise above the challenges with newfound support and grace.
