Romeo Beckham, the 19-year-old son of former England midfielder, David Beckham has penned his first professional contract with a football club in United State of America.
He signed the deal with Fort Lauderdale CF a U.S league one team owned by Inter Miami CF and he is set to make his debut this weekend.
After signing a deal with the third-tier club, he posted a picture of himself wearing his new kit alongside the caption: “Follow your dreams”.
He has also updated his Instagram bio, writing: “Footballer for @fortlauderdalecf.”
Romeo’s mum, Victoria, commented on the post, saying: “We are so proud of you Romeo”.
Beckham, a world-class footballer with a golden legacy, managed to get his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, into the Arsenal academy. However, he was later released.
