Liverpool have started the league well to avoid story that touches. It would be an absurdity, even in these exceptional circumstances, if the season were to be voided.

And a club that have a 25-point lead and need just two wins from their remaining nine games were denied the right to be determined champions of England. This is waste of effort.

It was quite unfortunate that the recent virus outbreak has paused the fixtures until at least 30th of April which is not 100% guarantee to commence, all Europe topflight league and cup matches have been suspended as well till further notice.

Many have suggested that the league should be void if the resumption happens to be impossible.
