The coronavirus lockdown kind of slowed down the music industry giving us less songs which is why we paused our weekly charts. Hopefully when the lockdown is eased and the industry gets buzzing we shall return with the weekly top 10. For now, enjoy the top 10 best songs in Nigeria released in April 2020.

9. Rexxie ft Naira Marley – Mofoti
Rexxie finally teams up with his friend Naira Marley on ‘Mofoti’ off his recently released project ‘Afro street’. “Mofoti” is a slang/lamba for the Marlian president, Naira Marley which preaching about not be scared of anyone except God.
8. Bad Boy Timz – MJ
Anonymous Music recording artiste, Bad Boy Timz rolls out with a lovely single titled “MJ” (Michael Jackson).

Cartel and Universal music act, Tekno returns with a new vibe ‘Kata’. The trending song is another dance hall vibe from the Nigerian music producer and singer.
4. Dremo feat. Davido – Mabel
“Mabel” is another masterclass from Dremo off his recently released EP ‘Codename Vol 2’. The afro beat song features Davido and its one of the best songs in Nigeria, April 2020.
3. Mayorkun – Of lagos
Just after his ‘Geng Remix EP’, Mayorkun returns with another hit single ‘Of Lagos’. “Of Lagos” is an addictive song i must warn!, it comes with an irresistible melody and catchy lyrics.
2. Ladipoe ft Simi – Know You
Ladipoe blends his style of music with that of Simi to gift us a romantic vibe dubbed ‘Know You’
“Know You“, produced by Somi Jones is a mid-tempo pop tune that talks about restricting yourself from the one you like dearly because you know little about that person.
1. Simi – Duduke
Studio rat boss, Simi has released a brand new single and it is titled “Duduke”.
“Duduke” is Simi‘s first official single for 2020, it comes shortly after she blessed Ladipoe‘s new record, “Know You” with her lovely vocals. The new song is produced by Oscar.
