Barcelona beat Mallorca 4-0 in their first LaLiga match since the league’s suspension in March.
The Spanish giants opened the scoring in the second minute with a beautiful header from Chilean Midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Catalans were then doubled the lead when Danish forward Braithwaite lashed in a rising right-footed shot into the top left of the goal. That was his first league goal in a Barca shirt!
Messi later played a ball over the top for Alba to run clear and score a third in the 79th minute, with just over 10 minutes left and the Argentine, not to be denied himself, rounded off an easy win as he took up a Suarez pass, cut inside and fired in via a slight deflection deep into added time.
The win sees Barcelona 5 points clear of the table ahead of 2nd placed Real Madrid who will play Eibar on Sunday.
