Man City Thrash Arsenal 3-0 As EPL Resumes.

Second placed EPL team, Manchester City thrashed North London side Arsenal in an overwhelming 3-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium.

The match played on Wednesday evening was the second game played on the return of the EPL after its suspension due to coronavirus in March.

Manchester took the lead before the interval, with a superb strike from Raheem Sterling, after Arsenal’s Pablo Mari and Granit Xhaka were taken off due to Injuries.

David Luiz gave away a goal, and then a penalty and got himself sent off. City then doubled the lead when Kevin De Bruyne netted from the spot, as a result of Luis’s foul on Riyadh Mahrez.

Arsenal had one or two moments on the counter but City were superior in all departments.

However, Manchester City sealed the win with a goal from Phil Foden just before the game ended.

The win still leaves City second behind Liverpool who will face Everton on Sunday.
