After His Red Card Against Leeds United, Nicolas Pepe Makes An Official Statement

Arsenal continues to struggle after they failed to register a goal in 3 premier league matches from open play, the results have been devastated, as the FA Cup champions dropped 2-points away from home.

With just 2 shots on target and a total of 6 shots off target, Arsenal had few opportunities at the final third, compared to the home side, Leeds United, which had 4 shots on target, and 14 off target. The game was controlled by Leeds, as they had 3 of there shots saved by the woodwork, and the brilliance of Arsenals goal stopper, Leno.

Adding more injuries to their already existing woes, Nicolas Pepe was shown a straight red card for his violent conduct and dangerous tackle against Ezgjan Alioski.

Taken to his official social media account, Nicolas Pepe, has apologized to his team mates, fans and coach, for letting them down, as he left the pitch 6bminutes into the second half.

“Yesterday I have let my team down at a crucial time of the game and there are no excuses for my behavior. I am deeply sorry and would like to apologize to the fans, my team-mates, my coach and everyone else at the club.” Pepe wrote.
