EPL Clubs Considering Two-Weeks Break Over New Coronavirus Scare.

English Premier League clubs are considering undergoing a two-weeks break over the recent increase in coronavirus outbreak cases among players.

According to reports the management of some top-flight sides have held talks over a mid-season time-out as concerns grow over outbreaks at Manchester City and Sheffield United.

The English Premier League recorded 18 positive results in its latest round of coronavirus testing and Clubs fear the next week’s FA Cup third round will see more postponements, causing potential fixture chaos.

As coronavirus cases surge across the UK, the government is set to unveil tougher tiers for much of the country tomorrow.
