Ahmed Musa Not On 100 Caps Yet NFF Clarifies.

A day after celebrating a milestone achievement by Nigerian forward, Ahmed Musa, the nation’s football governing body NFF has announced that the attacker has not made 100 caps for the country yet.

According to a report by sports pundit Naijafootballers, NFF director of communications, Ademola Olajire in a press release on Friday, Ahmed Musa has made only 98 appearances for the national football team.

“We defer to FIFA in this regard, so Ahmed Musa has 98 caps. If he features, as expected, in the home-and-away matches against Central African Republic in October, he will clock the tally of 100 and the celebrations will follow in full flow,” Olajire stated.

The friendly encounter against Togo in 2017 and World cup qualifiers against Algeria in 2017 did not count, the report claimed.
