Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) singer, Mayorkun has revealed how he met Davido and how they got along to build a successful music career together.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo on his program #With Chude, Mayorkun revealed how his journey to music had fully started after meeting up with Davido.

He explained how the 30 BG boss had reached out to him on Twitter and asked for his WhatsApp number to communicate further.

“At first I sent the wrong number. The time he did the retweet and everything it was around 10 pm and i stayed in Ajah, from Ajah to Lekki at that time was 2000 naira.” He said.

Mayorkun then further disclosed that he had to borrow his transport fare to Davido’s house to record his first song.
