Arteta Says Arsenal Will Be Supporting Norwich For A Chance In The Champions League.

Arsenal Football Club manager, Mikel Arteta has revealed that his team will be supporting Norwich City as they face Tottenham Hotspur in the final match of the English Premier League season.

Arteta has said returning to Europe is one positive thing to take away from the season.

However, with one game left, they are one point behind rivals Tottenham Hotspur and could even get the Champions League ticket if Antonio Conte’s men slip up at Norwich.

Speaking during his Friday press conference, Arteta said:

“We are back in Europe. We don’t know where. Tomorrow it will be decided.

Hopefully it will be Champions League.

“We are going to be cheering for Norwich… after that we need resources and to increase the quality of the squad.”

The Gunners were without European football last campaign after they finished in eighth place, but this season seems to be a reverse although they have a slim chance of getting a UEFA Champions League ticket.
