TAULANT AND GRANIT XHAKA

 Granit Xhaka played alongside his brother Taulant at FC Basel before he moved to Borussia Monchengladbach almost a decade ago. The Xhaka brothers represent different nations internationally. Granit Xhaka plays for Switzerland – where they were both born – while Taulant plays for Albania – their home country. 

GIANLUIGI AND ANTONIO DONNARUMA

Goalkeepers Gianluigi and Antonio Donnarumma were once team mates together at AC Milan, before Gianluigi who was the younger joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 after an impressive run with Italy at the EUROS 2021 tournament.

WESLEY AND RODNEY SNEIJDER

Rodney Sneijder was the younger brother to Dutch midfielder maestro, Wesley Sneijder. During Wesley Sneijder’s time at Inter Milan, his brother Rodney played for Dutch club, Ajax FC.

TONI AND FELIX KROOS

Toni Kross has enjoyed domestic and international success throughout his gliterring career. Unlike his sibling, younger brother Felix hasn’t achieved anywhere near what Toni has in the game. That said, he has still surpassed 300 appearances throughout his career in German football. Toni is currently at Real Madrid, While Felix is a coach at Union Berlin.

LARS AND SVEN BENDER

Twin brothers Lars and Sven Bender made their professional debuts for 1860 Munich within three weeks of each other back in 2006. Now, 15 years later, they will wave goodbye to German football on the same day after two outstanding careers respectively.
