Arsenal’s Arteta Reortedly Chooses Ramsdale Over Raya for Brentford Match

Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, has confirmed that David Raya won’t be playing in goal when Arsenal faces Brentford. Arteta explained in a pre-match press conference that according to Premier League rules, a player on loan cannot play against their parent club.

This decision means that Aaron Ramsdale will be the goalkeeper for Arsenal in the game. Ramsdale, who hasn’t played a league match for Arsenal since September 3, 2023, against Manchester United, will be aiming for a stellar performance.

Ramsdale had previously expressed disappointment about losing his spot to Raya but was determined to earn his place back. He stated, “Of course, I want to get back into my club team… I want to give the manager a headache and be available to be picked. If that’s not the case, then we’ll see in three or four weeks.”

Despite the change in goalkeepers, Arsenal fans are hopeful for a successful match and are aiming for maximum points.
